Sippin’ Pretty: 3 Fizz Margarita-Inspired Mocktails for Cinco de Mayo

If you’re anything like me, you love a cute drink moment — but not the sugar crash, bloating, or next-day regret that can come with it. So this year for Cinco de Mayo, I’m skipping the tequila and reaching for something that still brings the vibe: Fizz mocktails.

These margarita-inspired mocktails are refreshing, fun to make, and totally alcohol-free (but still party-approved). Whether you’re celebrating with friends or just want to treat yourself to something festive, here are three easy recipes you can whip up with your favorite Fizz flavors.

1. The Classic Citrus Marg

Fresh, fizzy, and the closest thing to the real deal.

You’ll need:

  • 1 Sweet Citrus or Pear Fizz stick

  • 8 oz cold water or sparkling water

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Splash of orange juice or a few orange slices

  • Optional: sea salt for the rim & a lime wedge for garnish

How to:

Dissolve your Fizz in the water, add lime juice + a splash of orange, stir it up, and pour over ice. Rim the glass with salt if you’re feeling fancy!

2. Strawberry Fizz-Rita

Sweet, tangy, and perfect for patio sipping.

You’ll need:

  • 1 Strawberry Fizz stick

  • 6 oz cold water

  • 2 oz coconut water or lime sparkling water

  • Muddled strawberries (2–3 fresh or frozen)

  • Juice of ½ lime

How to:

Mix Fizz with water + coconut water. Add muddled strawberries and lime juice, shake it all together, and serve over crushed ice. Garnish with a strawberry slice or mint!

3. Spicy Mango Tango

For the bold girls who love a little kick.

You’ll need:

  • 1 Mango Peach Fizz stick

  • 8 oz cold sparkling water

  • 1–2 slices of jalapeño (remove seeds for less heat)

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Tajín or chili salt for the rim

How to:

Mix Fizz with sparkling water and lime juice, add your jalapeño slices, and let it chill in the fridge for 5–10 minutes so the heat infuses. Rim your glass with Tajín for that spicy-salty touch and serve over ice.
