My Go-To Healthy Girl Staples (for the Lazy or Overwhelmed)
Let’s be honest — sometimes the whole “wellness” world feels like too much. Too many rules. Too much prep. Too many ingredients I can’t pronounce. And while I do care about how I feel in my body, I also care about not spending 3 hours in the kitchen or giving up every food that brings me joy.
So if you’re trying to feel better, have more energy, maybe lose a little bloat or get back into a groove — but you’re also tired, busy, or just… not into complicated plans — this is for you.
Here are the healthy girl staples that keep me feeling good (without sucking the joy out of my life):
1. Arbonne shakes, every dang day
I don’t like to cook, but I do like to feel full, fueled, and not bloated by 11am. My go-to is a shake with half oat milk, half water, one scoop of Essential Meal, and half a scoop of FeelFit protein. It’s quick, it tastes good, and it keeps me from reaching for snacks five minutes later.
2. Walking pad + weighted vest combo
I used to think I had to crush intense workouts daily to see results — now I just walk (a lot). Getting in 10–15K steps with my vest has been a game-changer for my energy, digestion, and even my mood. Bonus: I can multitask like a boss while I do it.
3. Meals I don’t have to think about
Think: brown rice bowls, grilled chicken with sweet potatoes and zucchini, eggs and toast for dinner, or DoorDash-ing something clean-ish. I rotate the same 3–5 meals weekly and it works. No stress, no guesswork.
4. Fizz instead of caffeine overload
I swapped my 3pm RedBull for Arbonne Fizz and I swear it’s helped with my focus, sleep, and even anxiety. Plus, it tastes like candy. Win-win.
5. Doing what I can, not what I “should”
Some days I crush my workout, hit my water goal, and eat like a wellness influencer. Other days I walk my dogs, drink my shake, and call it a win. Progress > perfection, always.
If you’ve been trying to get “back on track,” just know — you don’t need a brand new you. You just need some go-to habits that work for your life. These are mine. Feel free to steal them.
