Why I Chose Network Marketing — And Why I Stayed
This industry changed my life — and no, it’s not what you think.
If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be building a thriving business through network marketing, I probably would’ve laughed. Or rolled my eyes. Or hit you with a “that’s not for me.”
Because I believed the myths.
I thought it was spammy, cringey, or only worked for “those girls” on Instagram.
Spoiler alert: it wasn’t true.
So if you’ve ever been curious — or skeptical — here’s the real reason I got started… and why I’ve never looked back.
Let’s back up for a second.
I was working full-time in corporate — Director of Operations at a healthcare staffing company. I had worked my way up from being a temp to a high-level leader, made good money, and was really good at what I did.
But I was tired.
Of the pressure. Of the grind. Of building someone else’s dream while barely having time to build my own.
Then I found network marketing. Not because I was “looking” — but because I was already using the products and loving how I felt. And one day I had a thought:
“If I’m already talking about it… why not make money from it?”
That tiny shift cracked the door open to a completely different life.
Why I Said Yes
I wanted more income without burning out
I wanted to help other women feel better, just like I did
I wanted options. Freedom. And fun.
And honestly? I wanted something for me.
I wasn’t trying to build an empire on day one. I just wanted to help a few people and cover a bill or two.
Then something crazy happened — I got passionate.
I started seeing real results, not just for me, but for the women around me.
And I realized: this isn’t about selling. It’s about serving.
Why I Stayed
Because it’s not about quick wins or overnight success.
It’s about community. Growth. Confidence. Leadership.
It’s about showing up when it’s uncomfortable — and learning what you’re capable of.
And the truth?
This business gave me more than a paycheck. It gave me purpose.
I now lead a team of powerful women who are creating income, confidence, and freedom for themselves — many for the first time in their lives.
And I get to wake up every day and help people feel good in their body and their bank account.
That’s worth sticking around for.
So if you’ve ever thought “maybe I could do that” — I want you to know:
You don’t have to have a huge audience.
You don’t have to be an expert.
You just have to be willing to show up, stay consistent, and learn as you go.
And I’ll be here cheering you on if you decide to give it a shot.
