My Wellness Routine That Doesn’t Suck the Joy Out of Life
Spoiler alert: there’s no celery juice, 4 a.m. workouts, or giving up carbs in sight.
Let me just say this right out of the gate:
I’m not a “fitness influencer.”
I’m a regular girl who wanted to feel better and refused to do it in a way that made me miserable.
Because I tried that before — the all-or-nothing diets, the meal prep Sundays, the workouts that felt more like punishment than progress. And you know what it gave me? Burnout. Bloating. And a weird guilt complex around food.
Now? My wellness routine is built around what actually works for me.
So if you’re looking for something simple, sustainable, and sanity-saving — here’s a peek into what I do:
Mornings That Work for Me (Not Against Me)
Wake up around 6:00 AM
I make what I call a “tizzy” — my morning greens + fizz combo to hydrate, wake up my brain, and support digestion (life-changing, btw)
I walk on my walking pad while reading or listening to a podcast
I move my body — sometimes that’s a bootcamp class, sometimes it’s just a longer walk
I shower, make my shake (with oat milk + protein), and get into my day
It’s predictable. It’s peaceful. It sets the tone.
And no, I don’t hit snooze — because I like how I feel when I do this.
What I Eat (And Don’t Overthink)
Shake for breakfast + lunch (I use Arbonne’s protein because it’s clean and I’m obsessed)
Healthy snacks on hand — almonds, hummus, rice cakes, fruit, protein bars
Dinner is whatever feels good — sometimes that’s a rice bowl, sometimes sweet potatoes + veggies + a protein
And I drink a ton of water — like I’m being paid for it
I’m not tracking macros.
I’m not eliminating everything fun.
I’m just being intentional — and choosing foods that make me feel good most of the time.
The “Secret” That Changed Everything?
I stopped chasing perfect… and I started chasing peace.
My routine isn’t intense. It’s just consistent.
And it works because I actually enjoy it.
So no, you don’t have to become a new person overnight.
You don’t need to cut out sugar or hate your life to feel better.
You just need to start where you are, listen to your body, and build habits that fit your life — not the other way around.
You’ve got this. And I’ll be here hyping you up every step of the way.
